I never thought I would meet a man who had been to the moon…

Artist Loraine Rutt and Apollo 15 astronaut Al Worden are delighted to announce their collaboration –

The Al Worden Collection by The Little Globe Co. A limited edition of exquisite, palm-sized lunar globes and porcelain wall reliefs mapping the topography of moon, which has been created to mark the 50th Anniversary of the Apollo Landings in July 1969.

Each numbered edition is endorsed with a certificate signed by Colonel Al Worden.

Artist and cartographer Loraine Rutt has been making maps from clay for over 25 years. The inspiration for her ceramic cartography comes from the 18th and 19th Century pocket globes and the extraordinary photograph of the Earth "Blue Marble" taken during the Apollo missions.

The Lunar Topographies from The Al Worden Collection are currently on show with TAG Fine Arts at stand F1 Affordable Art Fair Battersea
