Edition number 2
The process of making a globe from two contrasting colours of porcelain is similar to the classic sprig work of Staffordshire Potteries.
It is inspired by Jasperware and is an homage to the refined process developed by Josiah Wedgewood in Stoke-on-Trent in the 18th century.
As befitting an homage derived piece, it is presented with a plinth, turned from English oak.
