In association with London Craft Week I am delighted to be running a one-off globe making masterclass on Saturday 9th June.

n.b. please note this is a change of date from Thursday 10th May to a weekend as requested by several customers.

A fine porcelain globe-making workshop at The Little Globe Co studio. Learn how to ‘fettle’, ‘scribe’ and paint using ceramic oxides with artist, ceramicist and cartographer Loraine Rutt. Guests will take home their bespoke ceramic globe.

Loraine has over 25 years of teaching experience, including at Central St Martins and Camberwell College of Arts. Loraine demonstrates her unique way of map-making in porcelain, and instils you with the confidence to create your own miniature worldly masterpiece. After approximately two weeks drying time, your globe will then be fired in the kiln to make your individual palm-sized world.

No experience necessary, but a passion for maps or voyage is advantageous!

Please bring an apron, all other materials provided.
